HGA Convergence - July 2018

HGA Convergence met in Reno this month - and what a fabulous fiber conference it was!  One thousand weavers from around the globe gathered for a deep dive into all things textile. I was honored to receive an honorable mention in The Playa mixed media exhibit for LAVAfolds #1. Another uplifitng experience was the meeting of the HGA Fiber Trust, where the interns we sponsored shared their excitement about the conference. And Convergence was where my friend Cindy gifted me these beautiful handknit socks she knit with Manos de Uruguay yarn.
