Reflections / Manhattan Bridge
Reflections/Manhattan Bridge explores the interplay of real and reflected, positive and negative, warp and weft. A photograph taken of Manhattan Bridge is a printed onto cloth, deconstructed, and woven into a textile which is then layered and stitched into an abstracted image that echoes its origin. This mysterious image invites the viewer to ask what might be there… and then again, what might not.
